The vibrolumincsccnce 0;' N20 cscitcd by activated nitrogen is studied under high resolution using a SISAXt SPCCtromctor in rhc 4.7 ~1 rcpion. For the fust time a Trcanor-type distribution is npplicd to the vibrational population of lhc ~'3 mode which shows a non-Boltzmxm distribution.
