Anomaly detection is an important problem that has been researched within diverse research areas and application domains. Many anomaly detection techniques have been specifically developed for certain application domains, while others are more generic. This survey tries to provide a structured and c

Abstract
In this paper we propose an efficient method to reconstruct a small inclusion buried inside a body using the perturbation of modal parameters measured on the boundary of the body. We design a reconstruction algorithm based on the asymptotic expansions of the eigenvalue perturbations obtained by Ammari and Moskow (Math. Meth. Appl. Sci. 2003; 26:67โ75). We then implement this algorithm and demonstrate its viability and limitations. Copyright ยฉ 2008 John Wiley & Sons, Ltd.
