Na4P2S7, Na2FeP2S7, and AgP2S7 were prepared by elemental synthesis at high temperatures and were characterized by vibration spectra and differential thermal analysis (DTA). A normal coordinate analysis was performed for P2SS-. Additional vibration frequencies indicate the presence of the decathiotriphosphate anion P3S
