2 años D.B.Y (Después de la Batalla de Yavin) Corran y Hal Horn ya sospechaban de los cuatro extraños que merodeaban por la Calle de la Nave del Tesoro de Corellia: dos contrabandistas, un muchacho joven, y un tunroth. Cuando apareció el cazarrecompensas Jodo Kast, tuvieron el mal presentimiento de que estaba pasando algo grande. Los dos oficiales de SegCor se unieron fácilmente al grupo haciéndose pasar por vagabundos que buscaban trabajo en una de las organizaciones criminales de Corellia. Corran debió haber sabido que era demasiado para ellos cuando descubrió que los contrabandistas y Kast transportaban cajas llenas de especia de baja graduación y valiosas gemas de fuego Durind.
