Abstract

Die Konstitution des von L. C. Craig & W. A. Jacobs durch Oxydation des Cevins erhaltenen (−)‐5‐Methyl‐piperidons‐(2) wurde durch Synthese seines Enantiomeren aus D‐(+)‐Citronellal bestätigt und gleichzeitig seine absolute Konfiguration bestimmt. Dadurch konnte die früher angenommene Konstitution des Ringes F von Cevin bewiesen und die absolute Konfiguration des Kohlenstoffatoms 25 festgelegt werden.
