Hyflux collaborates with Mizuho Corporate Bank
H yflux Ltd has signed a memo- randum of understanding with Japan's Mizuho Corporate Bank to collaborate in the global water business.
The MOU will enable both parties to explore various financing structures for water projects and for Mizuho to utilise its global customer network to introduce potential business partners involved in the water industry to Hyflux.
Separately, Mizuho will provide US$26 million for partial financing of the construction cost for the Hyflux Innovation Centre which will house Hyflux's headquarters and research centre in Singapore when it is completed next year.
Aquatech wins wastewater recycle project at Mumbai airport
A quatech has secured a complete turnkey EPC contract for a 10 000 cubic metres/day waste and sewage treatment and recycle project for the Chhatrapati Shivaji International Airport in Mumbai, India.
Aquatech's sewage treatment plant (STP) will be based on CASS-SBR (Sequential Batch Reactor) technology followed by ultrafiltration and reverse osmosis.
The wastewater recycle system will treat the raw sewage for recycling and reuse. Aquatech will also operate and maintain the facility.
