✦ Synopsis
THIS is a useful paperback, for it seeks to explain to parents in simple language the reason for this operation and how the child can be prepared, both in mind and body, for the procedure. Very practical advice is given regarding the daily management of the appliance with its pouch and belt.
Some good advice is given to parents in training these children to take over the supervision of the apparatus.
We could do with more of this type of paperback giving advice to parents regarding special operations.
Jamieson's illustrations of Regional Anatomy.
