✦ Synopsis
The dynamic interaction between high-speed train and simply supported girders is studied by theoretical analysis and field experiment in this paper. The dynamic interaction model of the train-bridge system is established, in which the rigidbody dynamics theory, finite element method and wheel-rail displacement corresponding assumption are adopted for the vehicle model, bridge model and wheel-rail interaction model, respectively. The measured track irregularities are taken as the system excitation. The responses of a 24 m-span PC box girder bridge are calculated. The proposed analysis model and the solution method are verified through the comparison between the calculated results and the measured results.

Dynamic behaviour is essential in the analysis of railway bridges and trains namely on high speed tracks. The action of railway traffic on bridges is performed by two different methodologies: in the first the train is considered as a set of moving masses, being the effects of the moving forces and m
The dynamic response of a girder bridge under high-speed trains is studied, with an emphasis on the resonant vibration. Two dynamic models for the vehicle are presented to predict the dynamic response of the girder bridge. In the "rst model, the vehicles are simpli"ed as a series of moving loads. In

Most researchers assumed the road surface inputs as stationary random process in time domain when studying vehicles with variable speed. This assumption was made to avoid the complexity of the nonstationary random processes. This paper presented a new method of analyzing the non-stationary random re
