✦ Synopsis

CAD or Draftigssystems are used by various Austrian Companies, eg Siemens Corp, Liebherr, Fertigteilbau Wien, and the community of Vienna has developed a system for land register maps. The Austrian Computing Society (OCG) has a special interest group for computer graphics, which is organizing conferences and lectures with discussions. CAD problems in general are not covered, for these there exists a group at the Technical University of Vienna which also has interests in graphics research. A journal is published in cooperation with these two groups.
