β¦ Synopsis
A number of relations have been suggested to represent the decrease of dielectric co.nstant with temperature.
In the following , represents the dielectric constant, t temperature in Β°C and T the temperature on absolute scale.
A k e r 1 o f 1) found that for several Water-Alcohol mixtures the following relation holds good.
log ~ = a --bT (I) where a and b are constants. 0 s h r y and A k e r 1 o f 2) found that such a relation holds for water upto 250Β°C.
M i l 1 e r s), H e s t o n and S m y t h 4) and others have employed linear relations between ~ and t.
Drake, Pierce and Dow 5) and Wyman 6) suggest for water up to I'00Β°C:
= a[1 --b (t --25) + c (t --25)2]

## Abstract In this study, the effect of measurement temperature and uniaxial drawing on the real (dielectric constant, Ξ΅β²) and imaginary (loss index, Ξ΅β³) parts of the complex dielectric constant of Ξ±βcrystalline phase poly(vinylidene fluoride) (PVDF) was investigated. The samples having different
