β¦ Synopsis
Perfluorosilicone compounds unveiled
The latest addition to range of compounds offered by Clwyd Compounders is a new family of perfluorosilicone compounds.
These materials offer the benefit of low temperature flexibility down to -50Β°C together with good resistance to a range of difficult fluids including polar solvents, automotive fuel, amine oil additives and steam. Typical properties for a 70 hard compound are a tensile strength of 10 MPa and elongation of 270% with compression set of 19% after 24 hours at 200Β°C.
