Valve packing simplified
Garlock has made its high performance valve stem packing available in a new form: pre-measured, pre-cut and ready to install.
Quickset 9001 expandable valve stem packing is pre-assembled in 25 sizes to fit the majority of valves. This should mean quick drop-in installation with no measuring, no cutting and no waste.
The Quickset 9001 5-ring design includes three low-density, conical Graph-Lock rings positioned between 1303 FEP high-density, die formed graphite rings at top and bottom. The expansion capabilities of this "cup and cone" technology enables 25 standard Quickset sizes to provide a proper seal in a large percentage of all valves. The cup and cone design also allows for multiple future adjustments, a less costly and less time consuming alternative to repacking.
