✦ Synopsis

Analysis of thermal wave advancing in an adsorption bed becomes much simpler, compared to that in a finite bed, if the bed is semi-infinitely long. Discussion is made on where in the bed the thermal wave should be measured in order to fulfil the assumption of semi-infinite bed length.
