We have studied the effect of pressure on the magnetic transition in CeRhzGe 2 and CeRu2Ge 2 by electrical resistance measurements in the temperature range between 1.2 K and 300 K. Antiferromagnetic-ferromagnetic transitions were examined on the single crystals of O-Mn, ,Ge, and [,-Mn? ,>Ge. The entropy changes associated with the transitions were calculated to be AS/T= 250ergigK' below 10OK for the former compound and 3.S = 1.2 X IO' erg/gK at 120 K for the latter.
