## Abstract The organic nitrogen requirements of six thermophilic fungi were examined in liquid shake cultures at 45 Β°C. The fungi used were __Mucor pusillus__ LINDT, __Humicola lanuginosa__ (GRIFFON and MAUBLANC) BUNCE, __Thermoascus aurantiacus__ MIEHE __sensu__ APINIS, __Thermoascus crustaceus__
