โฆ Synopsis
The extension principle is one of the basic ideas in fuzzy set theory. In this paper Yager's family of t-norms is used within the formulation of this principle. A generalization for the resulting formulas of extended addition and multiplication to n fuzzy sets is given. Also a procedure to fix the parameter in Yager's t-norms using information given by the user of the underlying specific model, is presented. The paper ends with two applications using the described procedure.
