✦ Synopsis

We show that the technique of analytical continuation based on Green functions can be extended to the calculation of second-order susceptibilities of quantum systems at thermodynamical equilibrium. Second-order susceptibilities calculations are therefore unified in the framework of the standard diagrammatic technique at nonzero temperature, usually employed in quantum statistical mechanics and solid state physics.
