β¦ Synopsis
It has been found that a solid phase dispersed in the electrolyte did not influence the value of the limiting current measured in volt'ammetry with rotating disc electrodes. This phenomenon can be applied for direct measurement of the rate of the sorption process involving the sorption of dissolved species on dispersed solid phase. As a model example the sorption on silica is further described.

In this work a thorough study of the oxidation of reduced glutathione (GSH) by electro-generated Berlin Green (BG) at Prussian blue (PB) film-modified glassy carbon electrode (GCE) was attempted by employing cyclic voltammetry (CV) and rotating-disc electrode (RDE) techniques. It has been shown that
The presence of suspended particles in solution causes an enhancement of the mass transport to a rotating disc electrode, the magnitude of which is dependent on the volume fraction of the particulate material. By monitoring the transport limited current due to the reduction/oxidation of a suitable e
