Microbeam x-ray fluorescence spectrometry was applied to the quantitative elemental mapping of elements and to the examination of the homogeneity of the elemental distribution in polymer samples. The measurements were performed with an energy-dispersive x-ray fluorescence microbeam spectrometer util
