## Abstract Polymer peroxides were synthesized by copolymerizing __tert__โbutylโ3โisopropenylcumylperoxide (Dโ120) with styrene (St). Exothermic peak at 192.7ยฐC in DSC thermogram indicated that peroxy bonds in Dโ120 remained intact during the copolymerizing process. The polymeric peroxide was used
End-functional polystyrenes with an N,N-diethyldithiocarbamyl group were prepared by the photopolymerization of styrene with novel diethyldithiocarbamate derivatives as photoiniferters. Under ultraviolet light, the end-functional polymers could initiate a second monomer to polymerize and form block
## Abstract **Summary:** The synthesis of polyacrylonitrileโ__block__โpolystyrene (PANโ__b__โPS) copolymers by atom transfer radical polymerization (ATRP) is reported. Chain extension of bromine terminated PAN macroinitiators with styrene was performed using a CuBr/__N__,__N__,__Nโฒ__,__Nโณ__,__Nโณ__โ
