An opportunity recently arose to treat in utero, with the aid of real-time ultrasound, a fetus affected with urinary outflow tract obstruction. This report documents that attempt at treatment and elucidates the constituents of fetal urine obtained at various gestational ages.
**Background**: The application of pyeloureteric anastomoses in the management of pelviureteric junction obstruction is described. **Methods**: Two patients, one requiring a ureterocystoplasty for bladder augmentation but with a coexistent contralateral pelviureteric junction (PUJ) obstruction and
