About the Author
Nashan "Ntricate Mynd" Wilson is a counselor, writer, and mother of two girls while her best friend and writing partner Shaena "Sexcee" Jackson, is a teacher, writer, and mother of 2 boys. They met while attending California State University Dominguez Hills while obtaining undergraduate degrees in English and became best friends after realizing that they shared common backgrounds and led similar lives. After working together on many projects in school, they began writing together after graduating college and are the authors of the entertaining yet funny and down-to-earth non-fiction advice book for young girls, "Get a Clue: A Girl's Guide to Growing Up". Both have a passion for writing as well as helping others, which led them to start SeceeMynd books, which is an editing & proofreading company that assist new writers with Self-Publishing. They have also began working on making their SWAGG Group (Sistahs With Abundant Goals & Gifts), a non-profit entity, which is an organization that encouraging young women everywhere to value their own self worth with the use of activities that promote positive self esteem and a healthy attitude towards life.
