The different upconversion dynamic processes in Tm,Ho:GdVO4 crystal pumped by 100 fs pulse laser and continue-wave diode laser at 800 nm are analyzed. A phononhelped absorption theory is used to explain the different upconversion processes in Tm,Ho:YLF and Tm,Ho:GdVO4. In addition, the lifetime 16 Β΅

β¦ Synopsis
Higher order processes that produced visible fluorescence observed in Nd:GdVO4 laser crystals pumped by 808 nm diode-laser were studied in the spectroscopic measurements. These processes were the energy transfer upconversion and the excited state absorption. The green, orange and the red emissions can be attributed to the transitions from the 4 G 7/2 excited state, which is populated by the ETU, the UV and blue emissions can be attributed to the ESA. The upconversion spectra indicate that ETU and ESA process seem to be responsible for the observed visible luminescence. ln(Intensity, arb. units) 0.04 0.02

High efficiency operation on continuous-wave (cw) 912 nm laser at room temperature in Nd:GdVO4 crystal pumped by 808 nm diode-laser is reported in this letter. The maximum output power of 8.0 W was obtained at the incident un-polarized pump power of 47.0 W, giving the corresponding optical-tooptical
Efficient continuous wave (cw) 914 nm laser operating on 4 F 3/2 β 4 I 9/2 transition in Nd:YVO4 crystal end-pumped by Ο-polarized 808 nm diode at room temperature is reported for the first time. The highest output power is up to 4.85 W under the incident pump power of 20.3 W. The optical-to-optical
We report an efficient continuous wave (CW) laser emission at 559 nm by sum-frequency mixing of the fundamental and first-Stokes fields generated within an Nd:YVO 4 self-Raman laser. Intracavity sum-frequency mixing with LiB 3 O 5 (LBO) nonlinear crystal yielded 890 mW of visible yellowgreen emissio
Efficient continuous-wave (CW) laser operation is demonstrated at room temperature with disordered Yb:Ca 3 (NbGa) 2-x Ga 3 O 12 crystal by diode pumping at 974 -976 nm. With 2.0 W of pump power absorbed in a 1.5 mm thick crystal, a CW output power of 0.62 W is generated, resulting in an optical-to-o
