## Abstract The crystal structure of Aurivillius phase ferroelectric Bi~2~WO~6~ has been studied in detail as a function of temperature by using high‐resolution powder neutron diffraction. In agreement with an earlier study, a transition from space group __P__2~1~__ab__ to __B__2__cb__ occurs at ab

The temperature-dependent behavior of the low-and intermediate-temperature phases of -Bi 2 MoO 6 were investigated. As revealed by high-resolution neutron and synchrotron powder di4raction as well as electron di4raction, the low-temperature Aurivillius phase shows a previously undetected incommensur

Crystalline Cs 2 KMnF 6 , when prepared below 5003C, adopts a tetragonal elpasolite structure type. Di4erential scanning calorimetric investigations indicated that Cs 2 KMnF 6 undergoes a phase transition from the low-temperature tetragonal phase (LT) to a high-temperature phase (HT) at about 5303C.
