This report ' of cumulative experiences with the administration of phenylbutazone to 590 patients for a variety of rheumatic diseases provides information of practical importance to those concerned with the use of this drug in clinical practice. Untoward effects were reduced significantly by lower dosages. Specific precautions are suggested.
