Abstract
Die Bromwasserstoff‐Eliminierung mit Kalium‐tert.‐butanolat aus 6‐Brom‐2.3.4‐trimethoxy‐8.9‐dihydro‐7__H__‐benzocyclohepten (3b) führt zum Cycloallen 5, das mit 1.3‐Diphenyl‐benzo‐[c]furan (6) das Addukt 8 ergibt. In Abwesenheit von Abfängern dimerisiert 5; die Konstitution eines Dimeren 10 wurde geklärt. Die Oxidation in Allylstellung von 3b mit dem Chromtrioxid‐(Pyridin)~2~‐Komplex führt in 30 bis 40proz. Ausbeute direkt zu 6‐Brom‐2.3.4‐trimethoxy‐8.9‐dihydro‐7__H__‐benzocyclohepten‐7‐on (3c).
