1D‐ and 2D‐NMR Studies on the Stereochemical Influence of C‐3 Substituents in Derivatives of Cholic Acid^1)^
The structural effects of C‐3 sustituents on two derivates of cholic acid have been studied by 1D‐as well as homonuclear and heteronuclear 2D‐NMR spectra. The stereochemical structure of ring A is derived from homonuclear vicinal coupling constants. The consequences of C‐3 substitution on ^1^H and ^13^C chemical shifts, on stereochemical and electronical effects are discussed.
