Unsupported MoS2 (WS2) were prepared by decomposition of ammonium t h i o -Samples with s u r f a c e area ranging from 5 t o 8 0 m2g-l were t e a t e d i n hydro-The a c t i v i t y , measured a t t h e pseudo steady state, expressed i n mole g- Therefore t h e preceding r e a c t i o n s appear as t e x t u r e i n s e n s i t i v e " f o r both temperature (523 -573 K) and medium high p r e s s u r e (pT * 22.5 10 f Pa) conditiyns.
