Enhanced seal to give improved pump reliability

S undyne Corp. has introduced the Sunflo P-2500 high-pressure centrifugal pump to the company range of high speed pumps incorporating a number of new features to improve reliability.

The pump is designed for general industry applications in non-API services including wash water, injection, seal flush, reverse osmosis, pulp and paper, dust suppression and NOx suppression. The new features include upgraded seal housing drain cavities, enhanced seal design, availability of numerous seal flush plans, labyrinth gearbox seal, and heavy duty bearings with more than 25 000 hours of L10 life. The pumps will carry a two year warranty.
