โœฆ Synopsis

pressor nerve endings in invertebrates has been referred to by Welsh (6).

Several preparations in the experiment were unresponsive to all dosage levels of levarterenol in trial 111, while some responded to one or two doses (Fig. ). This resistance was noticed only at higher dosage levels of the isomers and protmbly was due to the ineffectiveness of the wash, thus allowing ephedrine to remain at the sites of action and prevent levarterenol from exerting an effect. However, the possibility exists that the V e m s heart had become densensitized and required more time to become responsive.
