โฆ Synopsis
We present results of a treatment for elastic photo-and electroproduction of ฯ, ฯ, ฯ, J/ฯ and ฮฅ vector mesons based on a framework in which the photon and vector meson wave functions and properties of the QCD vacuum field play prominent roles. The model, which has been applied and tested before, is used, without free parameters, in a successful description of the existing data and for predictions in extended kinematical ranges.
๐ SIMILAR VOLUMES
Deeply virtual Compton scattering (DVCS) and the exclusive electroproduction of vector mesons (p0, p:L, ~, ยข) and pseudoscalar mesons (rr ยฐ, 7r ยฑ, ...) in the Bjorken regime are sensitive to the recently introduced off-forward parton distributions. We calculate the leading order amplitudes for DVCS
Electroproduction of two mesons well separated in rapidity allows the first feasible selective access to chiral-odd transversity GPDs provided one of these mesons is a transversely polarized vector meson ฯT .
