✦ Synopsis

A special matrix is introduced, the elements of which are zero or jrst-order operators. This matrix is used to dejne the initial boundary value problem which covers a wide class ofengineering applications. To bring the solution of the problem within the realm of integral transform theory, a new jnite integral transform and the corresponding inversion formula are &veIoped. The necessary orthogonality relations is derived using an extension of the Gauss-Green theorem. The formal solution obtained here can be applied to study heat coizduction problems, elasticity problems, etc.

An analytical integral transformation of the thermal wave propagation problem in a finite slab is obtained through the generalized integral transform technique (GITT). The use of the GITT approach in the analysis of the hyperbolic heat conduction equation leads to a coupled system of second order or

In this paper we introduce a real integral transform which links trigonometric and Bessel functions. This allows us to construct a monogenic pseudo-exponential in Cli ord analysis. There is a deep di erence between odd and even dimensions.
