Bea calls about a couple kids showing up at the shelter. They had been stranded on the island when a woman had rescued them, but then she had never showed up at the shelter like she had promised. Wes should have known from the start that it would be her. Who but Adelaide would be crazy enough to drive into a hurricane to rescue two strangers?

Adelaide Gardner had gotten herself into a lot of trouble over the years. Chasing down tornadoes, driving into storms, and vexing law enforcement by showing up in the midst of trouble had sure made her life interesting. In fact, if there was trouble afoot, it was more then likely that you would find Addie knee deep in it. Getting stuck on a island in the path of a Category Two hurricane was right on par with the rest of her life, but darn it, things like this are not supposed to happen to psychics - especially psychics whose specialty is seeing the future.
