## Abstract A simple, precise and accurate analysis for lead in blood and tissue was developed using spectrophotometry after extraction with HCl, H~3~PO~4~, KI and methyl isobutyl ketone. The results were similar to those obtained by anodic stripping voltammetry. The method is simple, requires only
