Francisco González Ledesma (Barcelona, 17 de marzo de 1927 - ibídem, 2 de marzo de 2015)1 fue un periodista, guionista de historietas y novelista español. Especializado en los últimos años en la género policiaco, fue considerado como uno de los principales impulsores de la novela negra de corte social en España, junto a Manuel Vázquez Montalbán y el pequeño grupo, reunido en torno a la Semana Negra de Gijón, usó el seudónimo de Enrique Moriel para dos de sus novelas. Bajo el seudónimo de Silver Kane publicó más de 1000 novelas, la mayoría de ellas de novelas del oeste. También escribió bajo el seudónimo de Taylor Nummy y Silvia Valdemar, así como novelas románticas como Rosa Alcázar y Fernando Robles
