✦ Synopsis
Regional correlations between french ore deposits can be established with the help of a systematic mineralogical survey. Thereby the distribution of a chemical element expressed in different specific minerals is investigated. Bismuth was first selected, because its both wide and not too common occurrence makes it significant. As a result three main Bi-bearing axis were clearly defined on a county-wide scale which also showed obvious relationships with lineaments.
