Marz 1977 Die unsymmetrisch 1,3-disubstituierten Thioharnstoffe l a -g ohne intramolekulare Wasserstoffbruckenbindung reagieren mit Diiodmethan in Gegenwart von Triethylamin zu den beiden moglichen Thiazetidin-Isomeren 2 und 3. Das Ausbeuteverhaltnis in Abhangigkeit der Substituenten R' und R2 wird untersucht. Die Umsetzung der Thiosemicarbazide 6 b und c mit Diiodmethan fiihrt zu den 1,3,4-Thiadiazolinium-iodiden 8 b und c.
The Reaction of Diiodomethane with Thioureas without an Intramolecular Hydrogen Bond
The unsymmetrically 1,3-disubstituted thioureas l a -g without an intramolecular hydrogen bond react with diiodomethane in the presence of triethylamine to give the both possible thiazetidine isomers 2 and 3. The dependence of the yields on the substituents R' and R2 is studied. The thiosemicarbazides 6 b and c react with diiodomethane to form the 1,3,4-thiadiazolinium iodides 8 b and c.
