The accuracy of ultrasound in the detection and characterization of pelvic masses is approximately 91%.l In women, the presence of a cystic pelvic mass is frequently gynecological in nature.1,2 We present two unusual cases of cystic pelvic masses, one of which proved to be an anterior sacral meningocele and the other plexiform neurofibromatosis.
