✦ Synopsis
Ultrasound examination of the scrotum is widely used to evaluate clinically palpable lesions of the testis and their appendages. Bilateral complex testicular masses secondary to hyperplastic adrenal rests can be seen on ultrasound examination in patients with inadequately controlled adrenal insufficiency (21-hydroxylase deficiency). It is important that these masses not be confused
