Fifty-five infants who presented to the Oklahoma Children's Memorial Hospital with vomiting and the clinical suspicion of hypertrophic pyloric stenosis (HPS) were evaluated using real-time ultrasound. Previously published criteria for the sonographic diagnosis of HPS were evaluated in these patients
