A high-power wavelength-tunable femtosecond fiber laser source is developed based on photonic-crystal fiber technology. Laser oscillator and amplifier stages in this system employ diode-pumped ytterbium-doped single-polarization large-modearea photonic-crystal fibers in a stretcher-free configuratio
