Abstract
We demonstrate the generation of an ultraflat supercontinuum from an 80βm long dispersionβflattened microstructure fiber when coupling a 1.6βps pump pulse at a wavelength of 1550 nm. Over 1000 channels of 10βGHz spacing are generated in a bandwidth of 80 nm, with a flatness of Β±1.5 dB in the 1550βnm band. Β© 2007 Wiley Periodicals, Inc.
