## Abstract This paper presents a new compact, low‐loss sub‐millimeter‐wave ultra‐wideband (UWB) bandpass filter (BPF) designed for vehicular radar systems. A dual‐mode ring resonator loaded with two 3Ξ»~0~/4 open stubs is used in the filter to realize a passband width of about 30%. In order to wide
