Meghmani Organics is going ahead with its plan to raise Rup 1.02 bn (equivalent to about $25 M) by means of an initial public offering (IPO) of shares on the Mumbai Stock Exchange. (See also 'Focus on Pigments ', Feb 2007, 6). Part of the new injection of finance will be used to build a highperformance organic pigments unit at Vatva, near Ahmedabad. Other projects on the horizon include: a new agricultural chemicals unit at Panoli and a new 3 MW power generator at the Charodi complex.
