This is the third of a series of papers on the types of man, the first of which on the types of the White race appeared in The American Journal of Anatomy for March, 1923, and the second of which on the types of the Black race appeared in the same journal for March, 1924.

The peoples of the White race in Europe are more ancient than the peoples of the Black race in Africa, and the latter are more ancient than the peoples of the Yellow-Brown race in Asia. By this I mean that Europe was the original home of man whose remains have been found all over the western and central part of that continent.
