The 3A Council requires a comprehensive range of tests to be carried out on the material. These include basic hardness, tensile strength, ultimate elongation and modulus measurements.The material is then heat aged with further fluid immersion tests at different temperatures.
The 18-02 standard is an integral part of the new 02-09 standard for milk and milk products to which the Jabsco 28 series pumps conform. This new 02-09 standard supercedes the old 02-08 standard which is now null and void.
