✦ Synopsis

This paper deals with two sectional models each involving three Weibull distributions. It presents a characterization of the different shapes for the density and the failure rate functions for these models. It also discusses the Weibull Plotting Paper (WPP) plots to determine the suitability of such models to model a given failure data set.
