β¦ Synopsis
new method is developed for the study of tit-order electrode reactions. It involves current measurements at just two selected potentials, and yields accurate values for the transfer coefficient and the exchange cd. It has application to many monoelectrodes and corroding electrodes. The method is applied in an experimental study of the FeS+/Fe *+ reaction at platinum electrodes. Also, three-point procedures are developed for the investigation of higher-order electrode reactions, both at monoelectrodes and at corroding electrodes.
These methods are developed for the study of monoelectrodes (at which only one reaction occurs) as well as for bielectrodes (corroding systems at which two different reactions proceed simultaneously). In the following presentation Part A treats first-order reactions and Part B higher-order reactions. In Part A a two-point method is developed for monoelectrodes, and its application in an experimental study of the ferrous-ferric ion reaction at platinum electrodes is described.

## Abstract Two meshfree point interpolation methods (PIMs), which are based on the polynomial and the radial basis functions, have been proposed recently in addition to the earlier work with the moving leastβsquares (MLS) approximation for the field function approximation. However, it is found tha
In his paper [3], F.A.Valentine has defined a three-point property Pa. The first part of that paper contains results valid in n-space. In the second part is specialized to the plane, and among other things it is proved that a set is the union of two convex sets if it has the property P3 and there is
One of the most popular approaches to the numerical solution of two-point boundary value problems is shooting. However this approach is often ineffective for singularly perturbed problems due to the possible presence of rapidly increasing modes which cannot be dealt with using an initial value solve
