โœฆ Synopsis

It-radiance-dependent transmission measurements were conducted for thin Csc film irradiated by 300 fs laser pulse at 6 12 nm in the intensity range from lo8 W/cm* to the values Y lOI W/cm2 corresponding to the film damage. The upper limit for the two-photon absorption coefftcient was derived from these measurements as (3 ?I 1.5) x 10m8 cm/W, which corresponds to an IrnXr3) value of (2.6+ 1.3) x lo-" esu.

Steady-state photoconductivity measurements in solid C, films are reported. The observed action spectra are antibatic with the absorption spectrum and show well-resolved structure in the long-wavelength tail above 500 nm. They are analyzed in terms of the recombination limit model for the bulk-gener
