## Abstract The essential oils from fruits, leaves and flowers of the Amur cork tree (__Phellodendron amurense__ Rupr.) were analysed by GC, GC–MS and ^1^H‐NMR spectroscopy. About 80 compounds were identified in each oil. Myrcene (62.3–70.3%) and __Ξ²__‐caryophyllene (6.8–10.5%) dominated in the oils
